About Our Gold Vermeil: The "vermeil" method involves 925 sterling silver being plated with a much thicker layer of gold than standard gold plating. Compared to the "standard gold plating", which can also be applied to other metals such as brass and bronze, the pieces are much more durable, subject to careful use.
